We’re thinking of changing CT to a bimonthly or even weekly format. We started as every two weeks, but with Melissa undergoing so many surgeries during that period of time it was too much. Now it might be possible. The benefits would be that email subscribers wouldn’t get so many posts at once in their inbox, artists would be able to be in the spotlight a bit more, and CT would get more exposure through the frequency of posts. The down side is that it may seem to be more “bloggy” than “magazine-y” as the posts no longer seem part of a single issue (but spread throughout the month) as well as it being a bit more work for the editor. What do you think?
Thanks so much for your support. You guys ROCK.
Hey Melissa! 🙂
My blog had the best readership when I posted every two days. Now that work is taking over my life however, I had to switch to less – and because blogging and getting at least some some writing done, I went with weekly posts. I really really miss posting every other day though!

Hi Estrella, I bet you do miss it! I wish I could do that here, but I know it’s not feasible–having to juggle so many people’s work. (Although maybe it will become a goal with my personal blog…hmmm….) But I know the more frequently things are posted, the more readers there are, period. That’s one reason why I’ve thought about changing format.Maybe CT can give once/week a try, too. How’s that working for you in general? I’m wishing you lots of writing time despite work!
